ABOUT SCHOOL OF COMPUTING
The School of Computing is the largest in the SRM family with over 10000 students and 300 faculty members. The School hosts four departments namely Computing Technologies, Networking and Communications, Computational Intelligence and Data Science and Business Systems. Various programmes are offered at undergraduate level with specializations in Artifcial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Computer Networking, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Business Systems and Software Engineering apart from the core Computer Science and Engineering. The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology programmes are accredited by Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK and ABET, USA respectively. CONFERENCE THEME AND OBJECTIVES
The School of Computing of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India is planning to conduct the 3rd edition of International Conference on Internet of Things (ICIoT 2022) from April 5th to 7th, 2022 in the Kattankulathur campus, Chennai. The conference aims to provide an outstanding opportunity for both academic and industrial communities to address new trends and challenges in emerging technologies and progress in standards on topics relevant to today's fast moving technology trends in to the Internet of Things. It also provides a platform for the discussion of new results in the field of Internet of things. The Conference will have different themes for each day and each theme contains different thought-provoking sessions. The first day sessions will focus application of IoT in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. On the second day Startups and Entrepreneurs will be sharing their success stories and experience in implementing IoT and few sessions on Industrial IoT. The final day will focus on Government initiatives like Digital India, Smart Cities, where top bureaucrats from various departments will deliberate on the themes. Researchers, Faculty, Students and Practitioners will be presenting their findings and ideas during the Paper presentation session on all the three days.
